QUALITY CONTROL IN PRECISION TURNING
Precision turning is an essential process within precision machining, especially when we are talking about sectors that require parts with minimum tolerances, such as watchmaking, locksmithing or industrial valves. At Bianditz, as a specialised bar turning company, we understand that guaranteeing quality is not a final stage: it is an inseparable part of each manufacturing process.
Optical and three-dimensional verification
To ensure that each component complies exactly with the drawing specifications, we apply two control systems:
- Optical verification: using high-magnification lenses that allow even subtle variations to be analysed in visual detail.
- Verification by 3D digital probing: we use a three-dimensional verification machine, which first measures the dimensions with high-precision probes and, when the geometry requires it, activates a visual analysis camera.
Thanks to this dual system, we validate that each of our precision turning parts exceeds the highest quality standards, whether for large batches or for single parts with specific applications.
Quality assured in precision machining
In the manufacture of high-precision parts for watchmaking, locksmithing and valves, every hundredth of a millimetre matters. Our commitment to quality has led us to implement a rigorous control system that combines technical expertise with advanced means of verification.
We have verification systems that allow us to continuously and reliably monitor accuracy. This is key in micro-die-cutting processes, where parts are only a few millimetres in size and must be perfect in both form and function.
